HelloI have recently bought a second hand Vitoconnect 100 opto1 already used

Hello
I have recently bought a second hand vitoconnect 100 already used and registered by the first owner.
I can’t register it even in ViCare or Vitotrol plus on iOS.
Is it possible to unregister it on viessmann server in the way I could use it please ?
The vitotrol id is B3BD1576776CADBF

I hope we could solve this and sorry to write in English, I’m French and the French hotline said to me they’re not capable on this. No comment ....

please give me the serialnumber of your Vitoconnect 100. So I can check if it is registered.

When it is registred the current registred user must send us an email at "Social-Media@Viessmann.com" with the request to delete his registration.

Make sure you have all the necessary data to re-register...

ID + WPA2 password from the device itself...

You can reset the Vitoconnect by

1. Pressing the reset button on the left side

for longer than 30 seconds untill all three leds blink...

2. Release the reset button...

3. Press the button again for longer than 5 seconds untill all leds light up yellow...

4. Release the button again...

Your Vitoconnect should know be back to its factory settings...

Thank you but I have already done this a couple of times !!! I have read the notice 😉
But it doesn’t worked, I’m pretty sure this comes from the fact the vitoconnect has already been registered online by another user.
Please is there anybody from Viessmann that can solve my problem ?

That´s not the serialnumber. The serialnumber starts with a 7 and has 16 signs.

It still don’t works
When I connect it to my WiFi it blinks green, then solid green then blinks red.
I tried with the hotspot of an iPhone and the hotspot of a Samsung s6, same result.
I tried with the iOS app and the android app. Same result.
I tried the 30s button and 5s button reset, still the red light blinking.
Please give me a hand.
Don't use any hotspot for the initial set-up...
The device sets up its own hotspot for you to connect with upon registering your device...
I refer you to the installation manual from Viessmann...
It's a direct download link...Save the .pdf file on your pc...

Please check if the ports 80, 123, 443 are free and if DHCP is activated at your router.

Yes they are because I put the vitoconnect iP on DMZ.
And DHCP is activated? When the ports are free, DHCP is activated and the password is correct, the Vitoconnect 100 can communicate with the router and the server.

You must check your network.

Yes dhcp is obviously activated.
I have around 20 devices connected on my router with no proble.
And if it was my router configuration that wasn’t ok, it would connect on an internet sharing connection of an iPhone or of an android phone.
If the Vitoconnect 100 sends its own wifi, it´s ok. So it can be a wrong password or a wrong configuration.

Please reset the Vitoconnect 100 by pushing the button on the left side of the box for 30s and then disconnect it for a moment from the power cable. After that please push the button again for 5s an then start the registration with the app again.

From what I'm seeing you're doing everything right...
Does your VC connect to just a wireless router...or the modem/router from your internet provider..?
If 1 then I suggest you reset your wireless router...
But before you do that have it connect to the modem/router...
I'm also seeing a similar network with a 5.0 digit in it...
That would be a 5Ghz network...Please try to connect the VC to that one as well...
We'll figure this thing out...
Last possibility is that the device itself is on the fritz...(Kaputt)
But before being absolutely sure it's dead...I would take the device to a friends house and see if it connects there...
You've got all the data required...so you can manually enter the serialnumbers...
It doesn't have to be connected to a boiler for it to make a connection with the servers...
It'll just display a boiler connection error...
My VC is connected to my wireless internet provider modem/Router...but it makes connection by Mac-address...
I've had no major problems on my side since installing it last March...

I think you first must ignore the wifi of the Vitoconnect 100 and then enter the password manually. It is possible, that your phones saved the wrong password. When this also didn´t work you must check your network configuration again.

The Vitoconnect 100 is doing right and sends it´s own wifi and would connect to your router.
