It’s been exactly one year since my Viessmann boiler was installed…
Before that I had a heating oil Ferroli with a 32kW Oertli burner ( 80L DHW tank)
My average heating oil consumption over the last 8 years was 1350 L…(1570 L in the year prior to switching to gas)
Since 2015 both my wife and I are enjoying our early retirement…so this obviously has had an effect
on consumption because there’s always someone home…
We live in a 105 M2 well insulated bungalow
I’ve written down the stats for my Vitodens 222-F…
Gas consumption : 1378,30 m3 of low calorific gas (equal to 1.382 L of heating oil)
14.049 kWh (11.831 for heating - 2.218 for DHW)
Power consumption : 152,4 kWh
Hours Run : 2237 h
Burner starts : 4349
Overall I am extremely happy with my boiler…
The savings ( +/- 15%) compared to my previous old clonker are not dramatic (+/- 200 L heating oil)
but the comfort we get from the Vitodens outweighs that…
Especially domestic hot water production is simply awesome…
The weather compensation takes a bit of getting used to but once you’re there…you don’t want
anything else controlling the temperature in your home…
The Vitotrol+ and Vicare app make the boiler accessible from anywhere…
The Viessmann team clearly designed and built a top notch system here !!!
