Error 357 on Vitodens 222

I have a new Vitodens 222, worked only three weeks.

Since one week we have a Error 357, viessmann partner has tried to see if error came fom gaz pressure but evrything is ok.

We have tried to change the Gaz Fan and pump but nithing changed...

Need help asap we have left home with kids...

What else could cause the lack of gaz incoming ????

Hi Sebastien,

did you check if the coil of the gasvalve has a resistance of approx. 4 kOhm?

And did you check if the gasvalve was powered and makes a "klick"- noise?

If the above things are o.k., the tech. should measure the gas- flow- pressure.

May be the static pressure is o.k., but when the valve opens, the pressure breaks down.

Repeatedly try to unlock the Vitodens.

On this youtubechannel you can find a lot of troubleshooting knowledge.

With best regards

Fiedel

Hello Fiedel,

Thanks for your answer and support.

The boiler has worked during three weeks after installation by a Pro Viessmann Station.

A morning with no reason, fuse of the boiler has blown on my electric panel.

But not all the panel or range, only the fuse of the boiler.

I immediatly put it on back and the boiler restart but with error 357 since then...

My Viessman station has measured gaz pressure static and that's ok.

But the valve do not open at all.

She seems to be alimented because she's magnetic.

They first change all the piece of gaz fan including gaz valve yesterday but no sucess.

They think this is a trouble of the eletronic panel (the little on the right top) who does not give the order to open to the gaz valve...and they will try to change it tomorrow...maybe there was a default on it explaining the fuse ...

If you have other idea...

Ah, that changes everything. You are right - there must be a reason why the fuse was blown.

May be the fan took too much current. In this case it´s possible, that parts of the electronic got damaged as well.

Or another fuse inside the Vitodens is still blown.

All the troubleshooting and replacements should now run under warranty.

May be your Vitodens was a "monday device" and something was bad from the beginning.

In this individual case you just can make sure that Viessmann changes the most likely components and hope that the bad one was one of them...
