Hi

When I use the Vicare App on my Samsung S8 (android), I can see all the settings, but when I change anything, nothing happens.

For instance, if I change the room temperature, the gas unit does not respond, or if I want to heat the water, nothing happens.

Why is that ?

I just did, but it did not change anything. Any change I do in the app will still not be applied to the heater.
If I exit the app and wait a minute, it will show the settings from the heater again.


Which settings do you see or which settings are missing? How many heating cercuits do you have? Please send me some screenshots from your app to customer-care@viessmann.com.

I only have one heating circuit, more details in the mail.

So, this morning I turned it all off, resat the VitoConnect to factory settings. But still no luck.
Then there was a firmware update to my ASUS router, and **bleep** that was applied and up again, it all worked.

So something in my router was blocking traffic from the VitoConnect box.
Bottom line is that it all works again 🙂
